Show William King Dies .e'cllcw-ing .e'cllcw-ing Short Illness William King, 71, successful farmer farm-er of this community, died Wednesday, Wednes-day, December 4, at the family residence resi-dence following a short illness of pneumonia. Mr. King was born April 12, 1S5S, in this city, the son- of Robert E. and Margaretta Lemon King, two of tho old pioneers of this community. In addition to farming, Mr. King has operated a thrashing machine foj many years. He and his older brother, broth-er, Edson, took the first thrasher into in-to the Castle Dale region, and helped pioneer that section. Besides the few years spent in that country, Mr. King has made his hcpie in American Fork all his life, residing in the First ward. , He. is survived by his wife, Anna M. Johnson King, and the following children: Mrs. Myrtle Harton of Salt .Lake Ci'iy; Mrs. Laura Davis ot Lehi; Mrs. Margarite Ohran of Bur-lingame, Bur-lingame, California; Mrs. Levon Mayer May-er of Elsinore, California; Nella and William E. of this city. Nine grandchildren grand-children and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Eva Cotton, Mrs. Mae Kirk, Guy King of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Sarah A. Allen of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. John Goodwin Good-win of Lehi; Robert E. and James P. King of Sacramento, California; Mrs. Lillian K. Brown, Mrs. Laura Dunk-ley, Dunk-ley, Mrs. Fannie Payne, Mrs. Melissa Shelley, Arthur and Ted King of this city. Funeral services will be held tomorrow to-morrow (Sunday) at 12:15 p. m. In the First ward chapel. The body may be viewed, previous to the services, at the family residence. n |
