Show Fay Thorne ; Dies From Heart Attack ! Pay Thorne was found dead near ' the Curtis station on the Orem line Sunday, after having left the county infirmary forty-eight hours prev-iously. prev-iously. His body had slumped from a sitting position when a heart attack at-tack struck him and he passed away . without regaining consciousness. Since Fay was in the habit of leaving leav-ing the institution and going to the homes of relatives in the county little lit-tle concern was felt of his disappearance disap-pearance and not until his body was discovered by some children was officials concerned although a checkup with relatives in Utah and Wtesatch counties were beings made at the time. Funeral services were conducted from the Second ward chapel in I Pleasant Grove Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock p. m., with Bishop B. H. Adams in charge. A solo, "I Have Read of a Beautiful Beauti-ful City," was rendered by Amy Giles of Heber, accompanied by Mrs. C. O. Jensen. The invocation was offered by Oscar Yorgensen of Shel-, Shel-, ley, Idaho, followed by a cello solo by Mrs. Martha Jones, accompanied by Mrs. Jensen. The speakers were J. J. Nusink, superintendent of the county Infirmary, In-firmary, President W. W. Warnick, Joseph H. Adams and closing remarks re-marks by Bishop B. H. Adams. Other musical numbers were, a solo, "Go-i "Go-i ing Home" by Roy Fage, a cello solo, Mrs. Jensen and a solo, "I Come to Thee", by Amy Giles. The benediction benedic-tion was pronounced by Robert R. Thorne of Provo. Interment was in Pleasant Grove cemetery where the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Harold A. Thorne of Salt Lake City. |
