Show SEMINARY ELECTS , CLASS OFFICERS The following were chosen in a close election of class officers at the Amercian Fork Seminary: President' Junior Richin Vice President Beth Wanlass- Secretary Barbara Sager Treasurer Lois Shepherd Reporters Beth Rushton Lois Mae Robinson This committee will look out for the general welfare of the class which includes parties, activities and other class functions. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Bush of Ely, Nevada, spent the week-end visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bush. Elmo's sister, Mrs. Berniece Adams, returned to Ely with them for a visit this week. Members of the Adams camp of Daughters of Utah Pioneers met Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Frank Bush. The histories of Elijah Bourn and his two wives, Rosa Abel and Mary Ann Bourn, were given by Mrs. Mary E. Abel. Mrs. Ann L. Chipman gave an account ac-count of the silkworm industry in early Utah, and read a paper on the industry taken from the cornerstone corner-stone of the Science hall. Mrs. Hay-dee Hay-dee Iverson gave the lesson. Thirty members and two guests were in attendance. Mrs. J. Stanley Peters entertained the Young Bridge Club and special guests at her home last Friday afternoon. after-noon. A Hallowe'en motif was employed em-ployed in the dinner and table decorations. deco-rations. Roses and fall flowers decorated the entertaining rooms. Covers were laid for Mrs. Earl Chadwick, Mrs. David Warnick, Mrs.' DeVere Wootton, Mrs. Thomas Reece, Mrs. James Preston, ,Mrs. Glen Robinson, 'Mrs. Ronald Bate, Mrs: Walter Steffin, Mrs. Leo Van Wagoner, Mrs. John Varney, Mrs. David Taylor, Mrs. E. J. Bennett, Mrs. Harold Ramsay, Mrs. Marion Mercer, Mrs. Noel Dalton of Provo, and Mrs. Harold Holley. High score prizes were won by Mrs. Warnick and Mrs. Ramsay.. Mrs. Mercer, the traveling prize. |
