Show U. P. Conductor Called By Death Former Pleasant Grove Resident. Alfred Ray Green, a conductor on the Union Pacific railroad, died suddenly sud-denly at his residence, 344 north Second West, Salt Lake City, Christmas Christ-mas morning, December 25. Mr. Green was born at Pleasant Grove, October 27, 1877, the youngest son of Samuel and Penelope Green. His youth was spent in Pleasant Grove, later attending the B. T. U. at Provo. He married Mary Adams soon after leaving the B. Y. U. and later entered the service of the Union Pacific, where he has since been steadily employed. Surviving, besides his widow, are the following children: Elmer, Eva Lloyd and Margaret, all of Salt Lake ; a grandson, Robert Elmer; and the following brothers and sisters: Samuel Sam-uel F. Green, William H. Green, Herman Her-man Green Joseph: E. Green, Mrs. Ella Richins and Mrs. Susie Robinson. Robin-son. Short funeral services will be held at the family residence Sunday at 9 a. m.. and then at i d. ta. in the Pleasant Grove tabernacle. The body may be viewed at the George W. Larson Lar-son home in Pleasant Grove from 12 noon until the time of the funeral Sunday. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove cemetery. |
