To those who so nobly served their country in time of great peril it will be an anniversary of achevement for a great work lias been performed by the Legion in the decade of peace that has followed the close of the World war. The American Legion was born out of the spirit of comradeship and mutual helpfulness that was so outstanding among those who fought side by side in the great struggle and it is today carrying on a program of public service that has no parallel in the nation's history.
