Show Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. Mrs. F. D. Strong is visiting in Heber with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Darrow Turner, the attraction being the baby son which arrived at the Turner home Saturday. Mrs. Turner was formerly form-erly Miss Amber Strong of this city. A fine baby boy arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Moyle Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Carlisle entertained enter-tained the Happy Dozen and their husbands Wednesday evening of last week. Games, etc. were enjoyed after which a dainty lunch was served. serv-ed. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Olsen and children of Salt Lake visited Monday Mon-day with Mr. Olsen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Olsen. Miss Mary Bates who is employed employ-ed in American Fork canyon is visiting visit-ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Bates. Mrs. Evans Shepherd and Mrs. Will Healey will entertain the Daughters of the Pioneers in- the Relief Society room Thursday afternoon, after-noon, April 13th. Tuesday evening being open night with the M. I. A. the entire mutual was delightfully entertained by Mrs. Lynn Johnson of Pleasant Grove, who reviewed the book, "A White Bird Flying", after which the Dramatic Dra-matic department presented the contest con-test play, "Stoves". A large crowd was present. |
