Show R. F. C. Workers Given Data Mrs. Ora Chipman, social worker in charge of the R. F. C. here, together to-gether with Mesdames Nell Karren, Esther! Paxman, Edna Robinson, Laura Beck and Mae Greenwood, her assistants; also Mrs, Lenard jPett, wife of the local R. T. C, ; chairman, and. Miss Lillie Shafter, representing the Red Cross organization, organ-ization, received special instructions instruct-ions Tuesday in thrift practices. The demonstration was conducted at the home of Mrs. Chipman by Mrs. Jones of Provo, of the A. C. Extension Exten-sion Division. The ladies were instructed in the making of two kinds of soaps, polishes pol-ishes for floor, woodwork and furniture; furn-iture; floor waxes, linoleum cleaners, clean-ers, wall cleaners, hand lotions, etc. These thrift practices will be available avail-able for all R. F. C. families. Instructions along this line will be continued in another demonstration demon-stration to be conducted next week. . . r |
