Show Funeral Services For Owen Allen Funeral services for Owen Allen were held Friday afternoon at 2 p. m. in the Manila ward chapel with B. L. Atwood conducting. "My Heavenly Father Knows" was the opening song with prager by K. Warnick Swenson. j A sketch of the life of Owen Allen, written by Alex Wadley, was read by C. L. Warnick. The ' speakers were President Virgil Peterson of the Lehi stake; H. V. Swenson, President W. W. Warnick and Patriarch Abeli John Evans of Lehi. A duet by Ora Chipman and Marley Steele, and a' duet by Gail and Flossie Webb in-tespersed in-tespersed the speeches and the closing clos-ing song "Lay my Head Beneath A Rose" was rendered by Ray Shelley of American Fork. Twelve employees of the American Fork Poultry plant, where Owen had been employed, put in an extra sliif t j Thursday night so that they might attend the services in mass. They; acted as pallbearers, six active and ; six honorary. The benediction was ' pronounced by President Edmund Cragun. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery where R. D. Wadley an uncle of Owen, dedicated the grave. |
