Show Impressive Funeral Services Held For Irs. Eliza Wild f Solemn and impressive were the funeral services held Sunday, July 1. at 4 p. m. in the First ward chapel for Mrs. Eliza A. Wild, who died July 3 at the family residence, after being confined to her bed for the previous six weeks with high blood pressure and other complications. Bishop T. A. Greenwood officiated. A double mixed quartet sang as an opening selection "Sister Thou Were. Mild and Lovely," after which Counse lor E. J. Seastrand offered the invocation. invo-cation. The singers then rendered the number "My Father Knows." Mrs. Mary E. Abel gave a biographical biogra-phical sketch, in which the wonderful wonder-ful traits of the deceased's character were told as well as her life and achievements. The speakers were Leo T. Shelley, Bishop Joseph H. Storrs, Thomas S. Priday and President C. E. Young. Each of them conveyed many words of consolement. Interspersing the speakers, Mrs. Edith G. Young gave a vocal selection selec-tion and Milton Brown played a violin vio-lin number accompanied by Mrs. Mary Humphries. Bishop Greenwood made closiug remarks, after which' the double mixed mix-ed quartet sang "Some Time We'll Understand." The benediction was pronounced by Bishop James T. Gardner. Interment was made in the city cemetery, where Eli J. Clayson dedicated dedi-cated the grave. |
