Show ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Hoggan of Taylorsville announce the engagement engage-ment of their daughter, Margaret, to Emery Bassett, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Bassett of Provo. The marriage mar-riage will take place June 15, at the I home of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Hoggan in Granger, Utah. Miss Hoggan is a graduate of American Fork high school, and a former resident of this city. Mr. Bassett is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Nielson of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rasmussen of Draper visited Mrs. John R. Wat-kins Wat-kins and family Monday evening. 'Closing out all Bedding Plants and Tomato Plants at Half Price. Humphries. adv. Mrs. John Crooks of Shelley, Idaho, Ida-ho, is visiting relatives in American Fork. v Bert Chipman and daughter visited vis-ited during the past week in Salt Lake City, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Von Chipman. Mr', and Mrs. Francis Christiansen left for Washington, D. C. Thursday, June 1, where they will be employed in government work. Mrs. Christiansen Chris-tiansen was a social case worker in a district of Lehi and American Fork, until her departure for the east. Mrs. R. L. Sweeten has received word that her grandson, Henry Foster Fos-ter Nicholes, will be graduated from the Long Beach Polytechnic high school, this month. The Commencement Commence-ment exercises will be conducted Tuesday, June 13, in the Long Beach municipal auditorium, on Ocean Boulevard. |
