Show j I Giddings-Clark Wedding Very Delightful Affair An informal wedding reception in honor of John Clark of Lehi and his bride, formerly Miss Ruth Giddings of this city, was held in Pirmage Hall last Friday night. The young couple greeted their many friends and relatives. Hie bride was charming in a floor length gown of blue velvet with silver metallic yoke, and carried a bouquet of pink sweet peas. Dancing was the main feature of entertainment. At 10:30 p. m. a short program was enjoyed, E. H. Holm-stead acting as master of ceremonies cere-monies and in this capacity gave much good advice to the bride and groom. At the close of the program in accordance with the accepted custom, the bride tossed her bouquet to the waiting maids. Miss Wanda Peterson Peter-son was the fortunate receiver and according to tradition will be the next bride. Refreshments were served in the basement, with Mrs. Lucian Cran-dall Cran-dall in charge. The tables were decorated in Valentine style. The young couple were the recipients re-cipients of many beautiful gifts which were attractively displayed on small tables, the center table depicting depict-ing the scene of a miniature wedding. wed-ding. Mr. and Mrs. Clark are making their home in Provo, where Mrs. Clark is continuing her studies at the Brigham Young University, and where Mr. Clark is employed. o |
