Show Oscar Alvin Hansen Dies In Salt Lake City Oscar Alvin Hanson, 28, son of Ole and Bengta Poulson Hanson of this city, died in a Salt Lake hospital Tuesday, September 17, following an operation for appendicitis. Apper-tonitis Apper-tonitis developed, which caused his death. Oscar was born in Pleasant Grove on February 21, 1901. When he was 13 years of age the family moved to American Fork residing there about 10 years, after which they moved to Salt Lake City, where Oscar has since imade his home. He Was employed em-ployed In the Deseret News office at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Vir-ginia Clyler Hanson, two daughters, Jean Virginia and Barbara, his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Hansen of Pleasant Grove, and two brothers, Hilding J. who Is now fulfilling an L. D. S. mission in Sweden, and Joseph B. The following brothers and sisters also survive him: Leda Hanson, Geneive Hanson of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Esther Carlson of Lewis, ton, California, Mrs. Hannah" Russon of Bauchus, and Mrs. Lillie Lloyd of Magna. Funerlal services were held Friday, September 20, in the LeGrande Ward at Salt Lake City, and interment made in the Wasatch Lawn cemetery. |
