Show u Former Residents Plan G-olden Wedding Members of the family of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Duncan of Salt Lake City, former residents of this city, will gather at the family residence today (Saturday) to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary of the couple. Both Mr. and Mrs. Duncan are natives na-tives of Utah. Mr. Duncan was born in this city, August 15, 1858, and the wife at American Fork, also, on March' 15, 1860. They were married here on January 11, 1880, by; Bishop Leonard E. Harrington, Mrs. Duncan's Dun-can's father. There were nine children born of the union and seven of these still are living and will attend the celebration cele-bration today. They are: Mrs. James Russell, L. E. Duncan and Delbert J. Duncan of Boulder, Colorado, Mrs. W. S. Willes, Mrs. P. J. Rock, Mrs. Roy Prince of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Dean R. Whitehead of Los Angeles. The Duncan family have always made American Fork their home until un-til several years ago, when they moved mov-ed to Salt Lake. |
