Show M. I. A. and Pri- mary June Conference Confer-ence Begins Today It is expected that approximately 10,000 delegates to the two conferences confer-ences will assemble in Salt Lake during the week-end. The M. I. A. officers announce they expect between be-tween 6,000 and 7,000 officers, teachers and members to attend the .:ssions, while officers of the Pri-".ary Pri-".ary associations estimate a record ..'-jaking attendance of more than !0O officers and teachers. President Heber J. Grant will deliver de-liver the address at the opening ses-i ses-i sion of the conference Friday at 9 a. m. in the tabernacle. General Superintendent George Albert Smith of the Y. M. M. I. A., Gen-enral Gen-enral President Ruth May Fox of the Y. L. M. I. A. and General Superintendent Sup-erintendent May Anderson of the Primary will greet the delegates. A second general session will convene con-vene in the Assembly Hall from 10:15 a. m. to 12 o'clock noon under the direction of Superintendent Smith and President Fox. Stake and ward "Era" directors will meet in the Hangar Auxiliary Ball Room (16 North Main Street) for a luncheon lunch-eon meeting. A safety demonstration demonstra-tion will be given from 12 noon to 12:30 p. m., followed by grand finals in church-wide contests, from 1 to 4 p. m. Drama contests will be held in the Paramount Theatre. From 2 to 4 p. m. there will be a public address at the Assembly Hall; at the same time retold story contest-will contest-will be held in the Y. M. M. I. A. board room. The dance contests are at Saltair Friday night from 5 to 11 p. m. Saturday morning at 8 o'clock a general Mutual session will convene in the Assembly Hall. Executives will meet for a departmental session ses-sion in Barratt Hall at 10 o'clock. Community activity department leaders will meet at the Deseret Gymnasium from 10 o'clock until noon. Adult leaders will meet during dur-ing the same hour. Those interested in senior work will meet from 10 o'clock until noon in the roof garden of the Joseph E. Smith Memorial building. Vanguard leaders will gather at Room 34, Young Memorial building. build-ing. Junior directors and teachers will go to the Lafayette school. D. E. Hammond, scout executive of the Salt Lake council, will preside at the Scout department session in the Y. M. M. I. A. board room, Young Memorial building, during the same period. At 12:15 p. m. a joint superintendent's superintend-ent's and Presidents' luncheon will be held at the Lion House social center. From 2 to 4 p. m. executives and the community activity committee will meet in joint session at Barratt Bar-ratt Hall. Adult and senior department representatives rep-resentatives will hold a joint session ses-sion in the main auditorium, Deseret Des-eret Gymnasium during this time. At 2 o'clock the M. Men will hold a special session at the Hotel Utah Ballroom. Gleaners work will be discussed at 2 p. m. in third floor of Bishop's building. Special demonstration work for Vanguard leaders wil be from 1 to 6 p. m. on the L. D. S. college campus. cam-pus. Junior representatives will gather on the fourth floor of the Bishop's building Saturday. Scout leaders will convene from 2 to 3:30 p. m. on the third floor of the Young Memorial building. Bee-Hive workers will meet at the Seventeenth Seven-teenth ward recreation hall at 2 Sunday's program will begin at 8 a. m. with a testimony meeting, with a general Y. M. M. I. A. s"s-sion s"s-sion in Barratt Hall at 10:30 and a Y. L. M. I. A. meeting at the assembly as-sembly Hall during the same period. Under the direction of the M.
