Seminary here has successfully success-fully completed all requirements for ,! lis Master's Degree in the college if Education, Brigham Young Uni-5 Uni-5 :'ersity, and was awarded his degree j,t the commencement exercises held e Wednesday. nj. Mr. Gardner's thesis consist of a jj 'ery extensive survey of the gradu-,tes gradu-,tes of the B. Y. U. over an eleven jj-ear period. The title of the thesis ,;, "A Preliminary Study of Social j: iackgrounds and Subsequent Activities Activi-ties of 342 Brigham Young University Univer-sity Graduates from 1922-1932." This ltfubject has required much thought .nd work over a period of two years. According to the table of contents, he thesis is divided into five chap-5is chap-5is as follows: I "Social and Partita! Par-tita! Background of Graduates"; II Present Social and Economic Status"; Sta-tus"; III "Professional Advance-'lient"; Advance-'lient"; IV "Religious Status and ivic Service Rendered"; V "Voca-Al.onal "Voca-Al.onal Status". It is unique in that it is the only Retailed study of its kind in the iiohools of America. It is hoped the iformation will be of much value to ie school and the church.
