Show 575 Attend Second Ward Reunion There were approximately 575 adults and children who attended the annual Second ward reunion held Thursday evening, March 14, in the Alpine Stake Tabernacle. Over 200 children were entertained in the afternoon, after-noon, and 373 adults and boys and girls of Mutual age in the evening. The afternoon's entertainment con- sistcd of dancing, group games and refreshments. The kiddies had a hilarious hila-rious ( time" in the participation of these game and dance diversions. The Bishopric and Recreation committee com-mittee comprised the Reception committee com-mittee for the evening's affair. A general handshaking, get acquainted and welcome ha me was enjoyed, after which everyone was seated and the following program given: Selection from the Second Ward M Men's quartette; quar-tette; prayer, President S. Jj. Chip-man; Chip-man; welcome speech, Bishop Joseph II. Storrs; seection, male quartette; one-act play, "I Will Strive to De-velope De-velope Unselfishness" Junior girls; Humorous paper, Violet Preston; Hawaiian songs with ukelele accompaniment accomp-animent (sung in the Hawaiian language), lan-guage), James Harrington and Alton Storrs, recently returned missionaries from Hawaii; demonstration of the Cotillian, four couples. Following the program, dancing was enjoyed to music furnished by the American orchestra. Refresh- nrents were served! during the evening. even-ing.
