Show ! Lecture On Scenic j Utah Proves Interesting i The illustrated lecture on scenic I T'tah given by V. P. Cottam j of the B. Y. 17. Thursday evening ; proved very interesting to the Lion I Club members. The lecturer took I the group on a hurried "trip" to ! Utah's interesting scenic beauty ' spots in his talk and with the color-i color-i ed pictures. j 'Mountains, desert, canyons, lakes, 1 f.trcams, timber, flowers, etc,, were shown and told about in such a wonderful won-derful way that one could feel the very atmosphere of the particular place depicted. Timpanogos, Grand-daddy Grand-daddy Lakes, Bear Lake, Dixie, Zions, Bryces, Kiabnb, the Colorado river, Grand iCanyon and other interesting in-teresting sections "were discussed and colored pictures shown. I Other interesting features of the meeting were: a splendid reading by Miss Donna Durrant and reports of their California trip by William Cliipman and J. L. Firmage. i Reports u ere made and some business busi-ness taken up. The election of officers will take place at the first April meeting President Nielsen announced. an-nounced. L. B. Adamson, Warren Anderson and G. A. Anderson were named as the committee to arrange-the arrange-the next meeting. n |
