Show Funeral Services For ' Isaac Canham Held Sunday Sun-day In Tabernacle Funeral services were held Sun-Hay, Sun-Hay, September 22, in the Timpanogos Stake Tabernacle for Isaac Canham, who died at his home September IS, after an illness of several months. Bishop D. B. Thorne was in charge of the services. A quartette composed of Lafe Wright, George Harris, Jesse Walker and Elroy Gillman, accompanied by Melba W. Cluff, sang "0 My Father" as an opening selection, after which Benjamin Walker gave the Invocation. Invoca-tion. A solo, "The Spirit of God", by Lafe Wright accompanied by Melba W. Cluff was the next number. The first speaker was Mr. Dunn representing repre-senting the Moose Lddge of Salt Lake City. A sketch of the life of Mr. Canham, written by J. D. Wadley, was read by Robert Walker. A solo, "My Faith In Thee" by May R. Walker Walk-er accompanied by Mrs. Neves was then sung, after which Ex-bishop A. L. Cullimore, E. F. Walker, S. Jj. Swenson and the Stake President W. W. Warnick, all spoke of the sterling qualities of Mr- Canham. Other musical numbers were a vocal solo "0 Love Divine" by Mjau-rine Mjau-rine Gamett, and a vocal duet by Elroy El-roy Gillman arid Lafe Wright The benediction was pronounced by James T. Wright. Interment was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by George R. Ash. Twenty five Moose Lodge members from Salt Lake were present and held appropriate approp-riate exercises at the grave side. The flowers were profuse and very beautiful. beau-tiful. . - n |
