Show LOCAL GIRL TO WED WYOMING MAN Mr. and Mrs. Joseph West announces an-nounces the engagement of their i daughter, Opal, and James D. Hars-1 Hars-1 ton of Cowley, Wyoming. Miss Opal is the last of six girls of the West family to wed, the others are, Mrs. Archie Noble, Pocatella, Idaho; Mrs. Mervene Mulliner, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Adena Meredith, Los Angeles; ' Mrs. Harold Nelson and Mrs. Howard Christiansen of Pleasant Grove. Miss Opal is one of the most popular girls of this city. She returned re-turned about a year ago from a mission to the northern states. The past year she has been teaching school in Salt Lake City, where she was employed before leaving for her mission. Mr. Horston is a returned 'missionary and popular in his home ! town. The five married daughters entertained en-tertained at a shower Wednesday evening in honor of their sister, about 40 relatives and near friends being present. Many beautiful gifts were received. Two showers were given last week in Salt Lake City, one by Miss Helen Nelson and the other by Annie Kirk Brinley, formerly form-erly of this city. The newly weds will make then-home then-home in Wyoming. |
