Show Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bates entertained enter-tained at a family dinner Sunday in honor of Mr. Bates' birthday. Covers Cov-ers were laid for the following guests. Mr. and Mrs. Loy Beck and children! Mrs. Benjamin Bates, Mrs. Made-lene Made-lene Wilkin and children and Mr. George Boddison of this city and Don C. Strong and La Dell Smith of Salt Lake. The Relief Siciety held a social Tuesday afternoon in honor of the birthday of several of the Sisters. Mrs. Martha Wilkin is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Wilkin of Lehi, caring for Mrs. Wilkin and the baby daughter, born Easter Sunday Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. A few relatives and friends of Mrs. Isaac Healey pleasantly 'surprised her at her home here Tuesday evening eve-ning in honor of her birthday. The marriage of Miss Arvilla Ol-sen, Ol-sen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Olsen of this city and Mr. William A. Patrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Patrick "of Lehi, was solomnized in the Salt Lake temple Tuesday, April 10. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Willard Olben of Suit Lake, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, and by the groom's mother. The officers and teachers of the various organizations are giving a shower in their honor in the Recreation Recrea-tion Hall Wednesday evening. Miss Olsen has been a very faithful teacher teach-er in the Sunday School and the Primary for many years and for several years was secretary of the Y. L. M. I. A. She has patiently and tenderly caved for her mother who has been an invalid for many years. Mr. Patrick is a member of the C. C. C. Oamp and will leave for the camp in Idaho in a few weeks and ?.r..s. Fa trie!: will remain with her parents during his absence. Mrs. Frank P.ateman entertained the Young Mothers club at her home Friday afternoon of last wnek. The u.-ual activities were engaged in after which a claim y lunch was served.
