Show Pleasant Grove Locals j Bishop and Mrs. D. B. Thome were Salt Lake visitors Friday. C. L. Wright left Sunday evening for a business trip to Chicago. He expects to be gone about ten days. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Allen of Salt Lake City were guests of Mrs. J. L. Theobald Sunday. Mrs. Clara Kirk spent the past week visiting with her son Odeal and family at Provo. The debating team held a trial debate de-bate with the Murray High School team Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wootton made a business trip to Salt Lake Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gray and family spent the week-end with relatives rela-tives at Richfield, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Weeks of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove were the Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Graham of Wallsburg. Miss Vola Johnson who is teaching teach-ing near Duchesne, Utah, spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Martha Johnson. Ruth Peay, who has been employed employ-ed in Salt Lake for the past month, came home Monday. Gray Weeks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Weeks, of Burley, Idaho, has been visiting with relatives here for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hickman of Logan, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Swen O. Anderson Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick announce the birth of a baby boy on Sunday, April ' 8ih. Mother and baby are doing nicely. i ' Mrs. Florence McHan of Twin Falls, Idaho, spent the week-end here with her sister, Mrs. Berley West, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Alvan Duke of Price, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Devey and family of Salt Lake, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ben West. Mrs. Vilma Bjork returned Monday Mon-day from the L. D. S. hospital in Salt Lake City where she recently underwent a major operation. She is reported to be much improved in health. Josiah Kemp and Ike Hayes went to Mammoth Sunday to attend the Utah-Juab County Firemen's convention. con-vention. Billy Told Is at school carrying his right arm in a 6ling. The arm was broken Sunday, (All Fools Day) when he slid off a hay stack at his home. Ruth Fage an employee of the L. D. S. hospital spent the past weekend week-end with her mother, Mrs. Mary B. Fage. Mr. and Mrs. James D. Thorne spent Saturday and Sunday in Salt Lake, the guests of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mre. Harold Har-old A. Thorne.
