This gives them a 14-2 record and puts them in the number one spot in the league. On Tuesday, Springville was hosted by the Trojans, and as the first game between the two schools was very close, everyone thought this would be a tight game. The P.G. team literally blew them out of the gym, winning by a lopsided lop-sided 70-36 score. Cody Bell led the scoring with 19, followed by Jeff Harris with 16. Harris was also dominant on the boards, gathering in 13 rebounds. Scott Jensen added 10 points. On Thursday, Pleasant Grove met the Timpview Thunderbirds in the Trojan gym. This was a lough game, against a very good team, but the Trojans came out on top, 67 to 58. . Scott Jensen had a great game, getting 26 points, 18 coming in the second half. Cody Bell added 16 and Jeff Harris had 10. Evan Thomas had a great floor game with some great assists and several steals. Bob Fisher and Todd Simmons also contributed to the win. |
