He explained that the : ambulances are set up in a semi-, circle, and that after the condition of the patient is determined, they are taken to either a red tag area, a yellow tag area, or a green tag area. He explained that each area ' denotes the seriousness of the injuries, from very serious to mild. A film, made by members of the association, also talked about the procedures that the EMTs are to follow in case of a disaster in any of their cities. A mock disaster drill was held in Pleasant Grove recently, and proved to be a helpful training session for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) from Lehi to-Pleasant to-Pleasant Grove. The format for the session was different than the usual triage that is , held, said Pleasant Grove Ambulance Association President, Terry Sorenson. He said that they decided to have the EMTs learn a little more about the mechanics of a possible disaster in their city. In the meeting, American Fork Hospital emergency room doctor, Dr. Dean Shelton, explained how to tag those involved and hurt in the disaster.
