Show funny bone Does anybody like fog? 1 ' A :V."-": ti M v --.- T, How do you like the fog? "It has been'long enough," say some. "It's dangerous to drive in," say others. All in all, most of the residents of this fair city have something to say about our latest misty weather. When asked what she thinks, Ebia Burgener said, "Wow. lt'jf scarry when you don't know what's out there." Resident Juanita Hair said that the fog caused her and her friend to get in an accident in American Fork on Sunday morning. She said that they were following another car, and going 10 mph'. When looking for the stop light that is right next to the Alpine Tabernacle, she said the car. right , in front of her suddenly stopped; "The driver of the car she was in swerved to miss the car, and ran-, ran-, into'the other car, anyway. She said that there were minor injuries, but it could have been worse. . ..' And what does Ruth Hassenfritz, head of thceriiors for the city, have to say .about the fog? "I love it," she said;;-!:"it makes me appreciate the good weather when it comes!" Another Senior, Lottie Carlson, said, simply, "I hate it It's hard to drive in." She related a story that happened to her son when he was driving to his office in Murray. She said that he was driving along, and another car started to follow him. He turned into a gas station, and the car continued to follow him right into the station. She said that the man got out of his car, and jokingly asked him, "Why did you bring me in here?" She said that her son told his wife that if the same' man had been following home, that, "we would have- had company!" "I feel like I drive at a stop," said Neil Phillips. He said that he's found the fog to be depressing, and, "pretty bad." He added that be especially dreads driving in the fog in the dark. ' :J-;"- A deliveryman for Hansen Vending, Don Ashcraft, observed that he thinks that we've had quite enough of the fog. 'Tm sick and tired of it, and I'm really ready for " spring, to say the least." '-. Other comments were unprintable, but we all know that it has been long enough.
