Show Mental Rehabilitation Specialist To Speak To Catalyst Group The Catalyst , Organization will hold ( its first meeting Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. at the Tim-panogos Tim-panogos Mental Health Center in Provo. Bill Green, a counselor coun-selor from Utah County Rehabilitative Services will speak to the group on rehabilitating the mentally ill. Bill, who has been with rehabilitation for 14 years as a counselor, graduated from BYU in sociology and attended the University of Utah for graduate work in educational psychology. Bill has worked in rehabilitation in both Rehabilitation Counseling Coun-seling Association, he is presently president of the board of Alpine House. Mr. Green will talk with Catalyst group about a number of experiences as a rehabilitation counselor and at the same time help the group understand un-derstand all the services rehabilitation has to offer the mentally ill. Catalyst is an organization of families and friends of the adult mentally ill. They meet once a month to talk and learn about the problems mental illness BILL GREEN Tooele and Salt Lake; but has spent the last six years working in Provo and serving Utah County. His main assignments have been to work with Timp Mental Health patients and the Alcohol Recovery Center. Green is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor Coun-selor (CRC) and has been active in professional organizations. organizat-ions. He has served as a member of the board and treasurer of Utah ! Rehabilitation Association. Associa-tion. In 1979 he served as president of the Utah causes in families. Some of the goals the Catalyst group has is to offer support and help in dealing with mental problems.
