HOT BATS Shane Richins, in addition to playing an excellent shor tstop had a hot bat as did Joel Carter, Brent Peacock and Jay Thornton in the big offensive offen-sive show. Clark Hill came up with a bases loaded double to drive in the first three runs. MOAB TOUGH Milo of the"long locks" played four different positions and lead Moab to a 5-3 win over the Cards on Friday. Jason Allred was three for four, including two doubles, one to drive in a run during the last inning rally. BROKEN ARM Jamie Miller, Card cleanup hitter during the latter part of the season, was unable to play because of a broken arm he suffered in a "skate board" accident three days before the tourney. - ) I i , i : j - ! f ' f ' ; J 1 ; - ? - - x : -f; - -.i - sx urn i '- k -aw - y ; a , x s , , t METS ARE SECOND Mets placed second in Strawberry League.
