Show Albert Olsens Are Married for 58 Years on Feb. 7 Mr. and Mrs. Albert Olsen celebrated three important events ev-ents in their long and useful lives last Saturday, Feb. 7. In the first place, they had been married 58 years. Albert married the former Jenav Smith, Feb. 7, 1912 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Secondly, Saturday, Feb. 7 was Mr. Olsen's 83rd birthday. He was born in Pleasant Grove Feb. 7, 1887. He spent his early boyhood working on his father's farm. He served as custodian at the old Central School for 37 years and as custodian of the Bonneville Bonne-ville Stake Center in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Olsen returned to Pleasant Grove in 1962 and purchased a home at 190 North 100 West, which they later sold. Thirdly, on Saturday Feb. 7, 1970 they moved into a new modern home, built for them at 320 East 300 South, Pleasant Grove. "We were too busy moving in to bother with any celebration," Mrs. Olsen said. The Olsens are the parents of five married children: Marvin, Mar-vin, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Harry Har-ry (Margaret) Zook, State College, Col-lege, Penn. ; Mrs. Steve (Mary) Ellen) Miller, Yuma, Arizona; Dr. Lyman J., Murray and Ronald, Las Vegas, Nevada. They also have 24 grandchildren grandchil-dren and 12 great-grandchildren |
