Show C of C tourist information school to start tue tuesday s day cannou can you answer que questions alons A tourist usually asks s button button chos got the button is an agn old saying that will have over a hundred answers next week when the richfield chamber of commerce issues ask me for tourist information buttons to the tourist meeting deop people le of richfield A large colorful button will be given to each person who concludes the one hour Sc scenic erAc wise course that is designed to furnish the answers ans vers to most of the questions a traveler usually asks the information from the course will insure travelers a more interesting stay in the valley and show them that southern utah is hospitable and glad they are here tuesday night june 22 at the program will get underway with an hours presentation by william C winder of the utah state department of publicity ab and industrial develop dev development flop mr winder will show a half hour film on southe eastern utah the land of the crimson cliffs and present a half hour lecture lecture on meeting the public and how to boost utah tae the second phase of the program will start wednesday and thursday june 23 24 with one one hour class each day at 10 am in the telluride auditorium the two days have been set up in hopes that each person who is continually in contact with tourists can get ito to a class one of the two days if it is impossible for some people to get to one of the classes other schools will be scheduled at a more convenient time tor for them AU all participants will attend the class during a business hour ad and will be excused by his employer but paid for that hour as regular regula r work A survey will be ba made friday to i determine who win will attend 1 tourist information director homer bandley stresses the importance of all persons dersons employers and employees alike who meet travelers in the normal course of their business day to take advantage of the course the tourist business Is fast becoming one of southern important industries arid and the more wa can cater toche to the traveler the more prosperous will be our economy |
