speakers sped leis at tile the afternoon meeting other speakers akeis during the afternoon were lawrence La wiene wadsworth of st bt george who told of the opportunities for new industries in washington county and plank 0 martines Mar lines of richfield who discussed the alunite situation at Marys marysvale vale committee reports were given by L A W naught of milford chairman of the road load committee for foi tile the clubs and tom jensen of mt alt pleasant field representatives toi for the association many important points concerning the danger of livestock on oil highways were brought out by mr mi simpson in his talk before the grou group p the discussion which followed was entered into by many and while mi air simpson seemed to feel that the danger from livestock liN estock had been over emphasized it was brought out during the discussion that many accidents due to stra stray stock had been charged to other conditions lee hanson of salina salana stated that the neglect evidenced by many man attendants of livestock being driven along the highways was cause tor for some accidents as aa well as being inconvenient to auto travelers ile he urged that something be done about this con condition and that where possible stock lanes bo be constructed and so bo designated lie he also urged that an all educational campaign be launched which would be aimed to induce
