| Show of PIUTE william franklin carson passes away at home here on christmas day funeral services were held last week for william franklin carson of junction who died at his home here december 25 after a brief illness with pneumonia mr carson was born in washington washington county utah on december 28 1870 the son of valentine and hannah waggle carson he lived at washington for seven years then moved with his parents to kan na raville utah where he resided three years then moved to parowan carowan Pa rowan iron county utah where he resided for about twenty two years while there he be met and married screptia luella thornton on january 22 the following children were born bom in parowan carowan Pa rowan nora levern franklin T ad marie he then moved with his family to junction and four more children cecil lona iona william edward luella and eugene carson were born bom he worked as a mason and carpenter all of his life having helped build a number of homes in pt plute county he also served as aa sheriff of plute county for sixteen years and was considered a very splendid officer several years ago he suffered from blood poisoning and it was necessary to have his leg amputated he was confined to his bed and home for many months then secured a wooden leg and crutches and was able to be down town some during the summer months during all the time of hla his suffering he was patient and uncomplaining pla ining he was a splendid husband and father and a kindly neighbor and friend he always had a pleasant word for those whom he met and he will be missed alike in his bis home borne and com community m unity he Is survived by his widow wido and the following sons and daughters mrs nora brinkerhoff robinson of monroe cecil and marie of salt lake city mrs luella patterson of beaver and frank and eugene carson of junction also by a number of grandchildren two great grandchild ren and several brothers and sisters we extend our sincerest sympathy to the bereaved family |
