| Show game board cuts doe do e deer kill for this year the state board of big game control at its meeting in salt lake city last week end set the number of antle riess deer to be killed in utah this his fall at a much lower figure than for the past several years and locally the board cut the kill from the he recommended by the sportsmen and livestock men to head as recommended by the other interests ats following a survey of conditions it also ignored the local plea that the hunt for doe deer run concurrently with the regular season the last of october the area from which the head are to come is the same as reco mended by the local groups taking in the area from the summit creek drainage to the bone hollow drainage encircling almost two sides of the valley the date for the hunt will be set later the number to be taken off three areas the dixie grantsville Grants ville and dagget sections determined at last dast saturdays meeting but will be made later this summer and it is expected that a cut will be made in the number to be taken over the rest of the state permits to kill a total of antle riess deer will be issued for hunts this fall as compared to for the same areas last year of these permits will be issued for hunts during the regular season and will be for postseason post season hunts the number of elk to be taken this fall was cut from permits issued last year to a proposed sole sale of permits this year with the areas not designated |
