Show aged resident passes Is buried on monday beautiful funeral services were held in the west ward chapel at 2 lo clock monday afternoon for maria dolokinske aged 84 and wife of john dolokinske who passed away at her home here saturday evening from ailments incident to her age she had been ill for quite some time and had been very bad for the past three or four weeks bishop W scott day presided at the services which commenced with the choir singing 1 I need thee every hour with silas directing and audrey rowley at the piano the opening prayer was offered by ancil J adams after which the choir sang that beautiful land speakers were ray H adams and bishop jess guymon with closing remarks by bishop day beewen the first two talks a mixed quartet consisting of silas arvilla day mr and mrs wm marsden sang oh my father the closing song by the choir was abide with me with wm marsden offering the closing prayer and the grave being dedicated by joseph E ward the deceased das born in west prussia Gerni germany any now on august 3 1859 there she lived her early life and met and married john do lo lakinske kinske ke both were converts to the L D S church and came to americo for the gospels sake they were baptized forty nine years ago and she came to american forty seven y years ears ago they settled in salt lake city where her husband worked d in the mines they came here about twenty five years ago and home steadied land on the parowan carowan bottoms where they lived until moving to town several years ago where they obtained a home they have a son but he 15 be located with him being here last about four years ago mrs dolokinske was a good worker in the church as long as her health permitted and mr dolokinske is an elder in the carowan parowan west ward |
