Show FORMER GAME WARDEN DIES AT CEDAR CITY HOME A sudden heart attack claimed the life of evelyn parry 65 lifelong cedar city resident at his home there late friday afternoon december as he talked with relatives mr parry whose health seemed to be good had returned home recently from a visit with his children in richfield and salt sah lake city and a short time ago he spent a month in california with a daughter mr parry was born bom in cedar city on july 26 1871 a son of edward and margaret margare t corlett parry earl early LY pioneer settlers on january 14 1902 he married eliza macfarlane in the st george L D S temple she died in 1934 widely known as an entertainer and charitable worker he and his wife served for many years on old folks committee of the cedar wards he was also very prominent in activities promoting the development of the resources of the ara area and for ten years was a deputy state game warden working extensively in iron washington garfield and sevier counties he is survived by a son conway parry of meadow utah three daughters mrs walter L of cedar city mrs mar ion snow of richfield and mrs earl cannon of san luis obispo calif a brother james C parry and a sister mrs winnifred urie both of cedar city funeral services were held monday in the second ward L D S chapel with bishop 0 C bowman in charge |
