Show co commission holds regular april session many maltas s of routine county busin business ess held the attention of the commissioners at their regular monthly meeting on monday of this week several tax lax matters pertaining to land sales leases avd arid settlement of contract purchase prices taken up several groups and representatives of organizations met with the board on road matters charles R dalley dailey and john H dalley dailey of summit met with the commission and presented a petition asking that a crossing oc cc placed over the ditch in front of the charles R dalley dailey property on main street the commissioners agreed to set lip up a project and have this project done L J adams mario and it ivan itan an decker representing the paro wan exchange club met with the commission and asked that more work be done on the parowan carowan canyon little creek peak and summit canyon roads during this summer they pointed out the value of each of these roads from standpoint of scenic attractions and utility to the general public the commission advised the committee that a project of this kind had already been listed and sent to the state road commission office for ratification they stated that as yet no action had been taken on any of the projects but that it was hoped by them to have seme definite answer in the near future wm M eyre and wilford wiford day met with the commission in the interest of road improvements from the bottom of the land in front of the day property in the parowan carowan fidfl to afe eyre farm they asked t in esav Z t property I 1 along the lane north of the harrel dalton farm be condemned by the county and that a grade be thrown up so this road would be passable the proposal was taken under advisement pending an investigation E ray lyman asked the commission to hire one of the county caterpillars er P allars to him for the purpose of throwing up a dam on some of his property he was told that the county would build the dam for a consideration of per hour other minor matters were considered and disposed of along with the months bills against the county ty before the meeting adjourned |
