Show four cars damaged in main street crash seven people narrowly escaped serious in an automobile collision on main street saturday eving in which four cars were involved ellis bentley who had been parked in front of the alladin theatre had just backed out into the street and started south when his car was struck from the rear by another car driven by H B young of ogden young who was driving at a high rate of speed applied his brakes a as soon as he saw the bentley car thus throwing his car on an angle As the car passed a row of parked cars his rear bumper hooked onto the bumper of patrolman L J adams car pulling the bumper off of it and skidding it about seven feet and leaving it at right angles with the curb after hitting the adams car young ploughed sloughed hed into the rear of the bentley machine and drove it into the back end of a pickup belonging to clair lister driving the latter car up over the curb and into a tree arlene bentley who with mr and mrs bentley occupied one car received a painful cut on her right leg and mrs young an occupant of the other car suffered several minor lacerations about her face in the young car besides the owner and mrs young were mr and mrs goddard also of ogden neither the adams or lister cars were occupied |
