resolved by the legislature of the state of atah two thirds of all the members embers in elected to each house concurring therein SECTION 1 that it is proposed to amend section 3 of article 10 of the constitution of the state of uta utah h as amended by the vote of the electors at the general election of 1930 to read as ai follows see sec 3 the proceeds of the sales of all lands that hale hae been or may mav hereafter be granted by the united states to this state for the support of the common schools and five per of the net proceeds of the sales of united states public lands lying within the state and sold by the united states subsequent to the admission of this stitt into the union shall be and remain a permanent fund to be called the state school fund the c t of cf whit h only shall be expended for the support of the common schools me itie interest on the state school fund the proceeds of all property that may a accrue c crue to t the he state by esche escheat at or forfeiture all unclaimed shares and dividends of any corporation incorporated under the I laws aws of this state the proceeds of the sales a of timber and the proceeds of 0 f the th e sale or other disposition of minerals or other property from school and state lands other than those granted tor for specific purposes shall with such other revenues as the legislature may from time to time allot thereto a co E C 1 that it is proposed to amend deelo section n 7 of article 13 ot f the constitute constitution on of 0 the state of 0 ut utah h as amended b by the vote of the electors electors at the general election of 1930 to read as follows see sec 7 the rate of 0 taxation or on tangible property proper tv shall not exceed on each dollar of valuation two and four tenths mills for general state purposes two wc senthi deaths oi of one oil mill it for high school purposes which shall constitute the high school fund said furd shall be apportioned in the manner the legislature shall provide to the districts maintaining high schools and such levy for district school purposes which together with such other funds as may be available for dietr district let school purposes will raise annually annu antaus illy idly an amount which equals 25 for each person of scho school of age in the state as shown by the last preceding school census the same to be distributed arnon among the school districts according to tj the alast last preceding school census and in addition an equalization fund fond which when added to other revenues provided for this purpose by the legislature shall be 5 for each person a of f school age as shown by the last preceding school census said equalization fund shall be a portioned apportioned to the school districts in suet such manner as the legislature shall section 6 of article 16 of the constitution of the state of utah sec 6 the legislature shall determine d the hours that shall contti tute a days work on all works or unde undertakings r ta kings carried on or aided by the state county or municipal government and the legislature shall pass par laws to provide for the health and safety safe of employees in factories facto shelters smelters sm elters and mines and shall determine the number of maximum hours hour of service per da day SECTION 2 cihat that the secretary of state is hereby directed to submit this prop proposed ased amendment
