Show DEATH ENDS LINGERING ILLNESS OF GOOD WOMAN death came on oil wednesday morning as a relief relict from intense suffering buttering to mrs ira lizzi lizzina na warren bentley 65 wife of charles bentley at the county hospital A cancerous condition ot of the lungs is ia ascribed as the cause ot of her suffering sut fering and death about a year ago mrs bentley was operated on with the tear fear that cancer might be discovered but at that time as we recall it her ter condition was diagnosed as aa something else and it was felt by her people that recovery would follows the operation pe ration she improved somewhat tor for a time but never regained her strength and recently her condition became bad again she suffered much and was taken to the hospital but no relief could be given her and she passed away about 7 a m on the funeral services ber vices were held heid tor for her from the east ward chapel today at 2 p in with bishop mitchell Ml in charge the speakers were walter C AlIt mitchel click 1 davjd and simon A Al matheson atheson husid was furnished by a quartet consisting of lola dalton florence joseph rex hex and ray garner L J adams sang a solo the opening and closing prayers were offered by john stevens and L N marsden respectively and the grave was dedicated by wm will J gurr lizzina warren was born in tor bo be north carolina nov 4 she and ana her mother were converted to the L D S faith by edward dalton and came to utah in 1881 leaving two brothers in virginia she was married to edward 11 dalton father of the missionary who converted her in 1882 in one of the L D S temples to this union was born seven children randall james martha ida francis harrell and harley the latter being twins three of them james martha and ida died of measles in colorado two at the same time randall has since passed away her husband died in 1835 1895 and in 1897 she was again married to her present husband charles bentley four children have been born to them john pearl charles F and marguerite the first two died as children she Is survived by her husband four sons frances harrell and harley dalton charles F bentley and one daughter marguerite dentley sho she was ever an industrious woman a devoted wife and mother and a friend to many with the community the times joins in an expression of sympathy to the bereave dones who are called to mourn her passing PT |
