Show ROTARIANS ENTERTAIN TEACHERS AND PARTNERS FASTNESS CEDAR CITY faculty members of 0 the B A C the junior high and the grade schools and their partners were guests of the rotary club at an outing tuesday evening which took the place of 0 the weekly luncheon the affair was staged at the thompson ranch in the mouth of tahe canyon above hamiltons fort fon and was nas in charge of the public affairs committee with reid gardner as chai arriving at the scene of the festivities tivi ties about six the party found a couple of men who had gone out ahead with big tires fires over which simmered a score of dutch ovens full of potatoes and onions being cooked in sheep herder style and large pots of coffee joe mcarthur had roasted a couple of tat fat lambs stuffed to the brim with savory dressing and these with the other trimmings and a dessert of lee ice cream surely were enjoyed by the group which numbered about president pete H E petersen of the club made the only speech of the occasion a brief one in which lie he assured the school people of the rotary clubs support at all times mr air manning directed some singing mostly impromptu numbers and won wm R palmer read an interesting indian legend many camp tire fire games were enjoyed and the party returned about 9 from a much enjoyed outing |
