Show OF THE NEXT TEN YEARS census figures show that during the ten years since 1920 while many rural districts and even whole counties have been slipping a ut lit tle tie in the way ot of population paro pare wa has practically held its own we WB know ot of more than enough par owan people who were temporarily away at the time the census wes was taken to put us above the 1920 figures though we grown in num bers as we should like to have done we have not lost la in other ways we have progressed we have made a lot of substantial aud and oper permanent manent improvements but what ot of the next ten years will they show gain or loss the answer to that question Is within our power it we dig our heels in and hang back against everything ery thing ot of a progressive nature which la Is proposed then we can hard ly jy expect to progress unfortunately there are those among us who do just that thing rarely has an im pro prominent vinent been suggested that they opposed A larger class ot of us bo however wever which add little to further progress and development consists ot of those who are indifferent the two classes make the load pret ly heavy for far those who would have the community grow it if more of us will get in the booster class however it if well work for or the best interests ot of this community there Is not much doubt that we shall make progress in the next decade there is little else to hold us back except our own attitude with opportunities tor for new industries some of which are in the making we can grow it if we wish to |
