Show DELEGATES SENT TO ASK FOR PAROWAN PANGUITCH ROAD Pan Fan takes initiative and asks communities on this side to roin join them committees sent to salt lake city to meet forest officials and road commission A delegation from carowan parowan Pa rowau rowan one tron from Parag onali and one from pan left on wednesday morning of this week to meet with forest service officials and with the state road commission in an effort to get a road connecting Pan and the communities on this side of the mountain by way of little creek this matter has hae been agitated for some time by all the communities of ties concerned and there has been intimations that the forest service and the counties concerned would operate cooperate co but a division among the people in all the communities affected as to where the road should be located has been a deterring factor and has done much to prevent definite action sooner the Pan people recently went to the mat on the matter however and when those who favored going to the buckskin divide to get over the mountain found that they were in the min arity they lined up with the majority which favored the little creek route then they telephoned over to county commissioner 11 II L adams and asked for a delegation from this side to go with them road commission and the F forest orest service As a result the local chamber ot of commerce were let in on the matter and they called a meeting for tuesday night at that meeting local differences were settled in favor avor 0 of the little creek route and three delegates werf were elected to go to salt lake city representatives from were also present at the meeting and they stated that paragonah Para gonah was sending a man for the same purpose in the meantime commissioner adams had been authorized to represent the county which made a strong delegation from this section what success they had has not been learned as yet |
