Show WW MARGARET A RICHARDS SUMMONED HOME after many months of suffering coupled with the knowledge that life could not be prolonged for more than a sho short rt time sirs its margaret A richards wife of morgan richards of this city was released from the cares of this life when the end canic came on friday afternoon last at the family residence here death resulted from sarcoma involving sinus according to a diagnosis by dr ralph richards and his specialists or in simpler language from a growth on her fore head caused by an accident more than a year since every effort was made when the seriousness of the affliction became apparent to do something for it but to no avail she went to salt lake city to consult specialists with the result that she was told by the physicians above referred to that nothing could be done for her after which she return returned and has been constantly growing until the end came mrs airs richards is survived by her husband brother morgan amorgan richards known and loved by practically everyone in in this end of the state as well as elsewhere and ten children five boys and five girls all grown to men and women together with several brothers and sisters and grand children she was almost 68 years of age at tle the time of other her death abid ahdout but for the accident which finally resulted in her death should have lived for many years yet her life ha has s been one of usefulness and devotion to her family all the members ot which are still living funeral services were held in the tabernacle on monday at 2 with the body of the building filled with friends and loved ones who had gathered to pay their last respects bishop 11 L adams conducted the s services er vices and L J adams had charge of the choir after the first song by the choir though deepening trials the opening prayer was offered by brother L LN N marsden and the choir then sang 0 my father apostle john A soc who had remained since the closing session of the stake conference to in atten daner at the funeral was thi first speaker delivering a very fitting sermon the choir then sang the harvest time is passing aftel which sirs mrs marion gudmunsen leao leac some verses composed by mrs marybelle richards Richar cbs tanner daughter ot the deceased for the oc cassion A violin solo by mr west of the music delai department ament of the B A C accompanied by mr mccarty of the same place was followed by a splendid talk by mrs mary marsden and then another violin solo after the closing number by the choir rest rest for the weady soul brother david matheson pronounced nour iced the benediction the five sons of the deceased dec essed gum gumer cr william joseph charles and alma all w wonderful ond erful specimens of manhood and james L adams a nephew were the pall bearers and three of the daughters margaret 3 columbia and catherine were among the mourners Il harriet arritt and Alary marybelle belle being unable to be here |
