Show ri r rA A sJ v f yF d dr r iR iRR t R T O FAIR AT BOUNTIFUL ELEMENTARY V Third grade students at Bountiful Elementary School enjoyed their fair recently Students showed many things they made Friday Sept 25 was a special day for the third grades at Bountiful Elementary School THE S SECIAL ECIAL occasion was the Third Thud Grade Fair Every U thi grader was responsible responsible responsible re re- re- re fo entering four or five interesting items in the fair These items in unusual souvenirs home-grown home fruits vegetables and flowers Clowers shell leaf insect rock collections baked goods bottled jam jelly jelly jelly jel jel- jel- jel ly fruit or vegetables arts and crafts projects hobbies and pets excluding dogs THE CHILDREN are encouraged encouraged encouraged en en- to do most of the baking and work themselves but parents are wonderful about helping Of course a fair wouldn't be a fair without ribbons so each child is appointed to bethe be bethe bethe the judge of his items and awards his three best entrees with a ribbon THIS ACTIVE AcrIVE and very real experience started at Bountiful Elementary with Arlene Rogers Rogers Rogers Rog Rog- ers now retired She felt the need to make children more aware of the State Fair and this same objective objective ob oh- was carried out this year by Chloteal Griffeth Norma Fisher Marie Ivory and Linda Blosch |
