E Green of the Air Force Academy has been spending three weeks with the Communications Squadron at Hill as part of the Operation Third Lieutenant program DURING HIS stay Cadet Green has been exposed to the aircraft tower telecommunications telecommunications telecommunications tele tele- communications center and around the Utah area Cadet Green was at Hill to familiarize him with air force life Lieutenant Innis was Cadet Greens Green's host while he was here maintenance section of the squadron The purpose of the variety of areas was so that the cadet could better understand understand understand under under- stand how a communications squadron works 1 1 THE OPERATION Third Lieutenant program which will bring 15 cadets to Hill I is designed to give Academy cadets an opportunity to participate participate participate par par- in a field they hope to enter when coming on active duty Cadets are paired off with officers and work with them on their jobs Cadet Green is the son of Mr and Mrs Robert E.
