For more information call 649-8118. 126 Library book discussion The Miners Hospital Library will host a book discussion of Malcolm Lowry's Under the Volcano on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. The book is a modern classic which chronicles the downfall of a British diplomat in the disintegrating political environment of Mexico on the eve of World War II. Paperback copies may be purchased from Dolly's bookstore or checked out of the library. After brunch Laura Young Wells will give a talk about the mansion and its restoration. The mansion is located at 603 East South Temple Street. The charge is $7 to members, $8 to non-members. Ornaments will be personalized with the names of those individuals who have contributed. 1213 Nordic Skiing in Peru "Nordic Skiing and Climbing in Peru Cordillera Blanca," a slidelecture program, continues the "Mountain Experience" series at the Park City Library on Friday, Dec. 14, at 6:30 p.m. Steve Howe, affiliated with Wasatch Touring, Salt Lake City, will discuss his nordic descent of Huascaran Norte (21,900 ft.) and an ascent of Ranrapalca (20,300 ft.).
