The suggestion was again made that we cut expenses, even if we had to hire more assessors to make sure that everyone was paying their fair share. Theron Atkinson commended com-mended the Commissioners on the job they are doing, and stated if there was anyway to cut taxes it would be ap- how is the property assessed, assess-ed, are all of the summer homes andetc.payingtaxes. After much discussion the Commission decided to adopt the proposed budget with the stipulation that the Clerk-Auditor, Clerk-Auditor, Reed Pace go over the budget one more time and try to substitute revenue sharing money for property tax money. The 1975 Summit County Budget Hearing was held December 11, 1974 at the Summit County Courthouse. Those present were: County Commissioners, Koy Page, Alva Dearden; County Clerk-Auditor, Reed Pace. Dale Leavitt, Commissioner Commis-sioner Elect, Theron Atkinson, Atkin-son, Eugene Pace, Leo Fraz-ier, Fraz-ier, Paul Kelly, Virginia .
