Show Eliza Lake Tells of Nevada Visit Mrs. Eliza B. Lake returned home' Monday from a three week visit to her daughter's, Mrs. Jerry L. Yates in Ruth, Nevada. It was really cold and the wind blew, but in the day time the sun shone beautiful and was quite warm. Snow and ice were plentiful. We went down to Ely seven miles away and it was dry and dusty also McGill where we visited some old time Parkites May and Layton Geff, Mont and Sadie, Itchie and Cassy and Bobby and Linda Goff. May and Layton are doing fine and the boys really like it out there. Ray and Florence Fawcett were also visited. Ray is still at the mine although he is ready to retire and Florence still works at the post office there. They lived in Park City, too. They will make their home in Pleasant Grove when they return re-turn to Utah. On her return home Eliza stopped in Spanish Fork to visit her daughter, Mrs. T. J. Gates they were all well, and inOrem to visit her sister, Mrs. Ralph Draper who has been in the American Fork hospital for a week. She is on the road to a quick recovery now. |
