Show Holy, Screaming Bat mobiles, It's Him! The handsome, beaming skier approached the cashier at the rental shop and politelv inauired in a deep, resonant voice, about renting skis The girl's ears perked up and immediately caught a trace of something familiar in the voice. She routinely answered the visitor's questions ques-tions and handed him a rental form to fill out. The name "Adam West" on the contract also seemed familiar, and as she pointed him in the direction of the rental skis, it dawned on her or rather struck her with a "pow" and a "sock". For this Park City visitor was none other than the TV version of that quintessent crime-fighter crime-fighter of crimefighters, the indomitable Batman. Shades of Gotham City! Adam West, screen and TV personality, was visiting Park City after an interval of four years and seemed both relieved and most happy to be back for some skiing with family andfriends. Mr. West gladly answered the questions of surprised onlookers while his son was fitted in skis for the holiday and then swiftly disappeared into the gathering dusk. Detached and unfriendly he certainly wasn't. So rest easy Park City, Batman sleeps here. |
