| Show States State's Tallest Pole Shortened The giant flag nag pole at the Marsac Marsac Mar Mar- sac School grounds 80 feet high and thought to be the highest in inthe Inthe inthe the state of Utah was taken down during the week and due to the rusted condition of the base It was deemed advisable isable to shorten the pole to 50 feet which was done The pole was wall then reset and Jack A A. A ThomaS Thoma of Texas a pro professional flag pole painter went up and painted the pole The good job Is now finished and it Is le perfectly safe sate and In good condition The pole has stood on the site for the past 50 years years' having been placed there by patriotic Park City citizens |
