Show Lost Boy Found Yesterday afternoon our were filled with fear and apprehension when It was made known that Master Leonard two and one half year old son of at Mr and Mrs Arthur Bud Matheson was lost Leonard was playing as usual yesterday morning with his pals on Empire avenue avenue avenue ave ave- nue and about 11 o'clock his big mother called for him receiving no answer a a immediate check was made at all the neighbors homes not finding him a search learch was started and as each usual haunt gave no trace of at him apprehension sion grew In the early afternoon a general alarm was given which was responded too by most everyone and a search started on the hills west of at Empire avenue A jeep driven by David Prudence and Bob Scott as a passenger went up the old tramway The Jeep was stalled near Rocky Point and Mr Scott decided to continue on foot further on up the road Near the Point his efforts were rewarded for here was young Bud and his faithful faithful faith faith- ful dog slowly down the road toward home after walking some three miles up the winding tram Other than being tired and wet from the of melting snow he was as happy as usual and surprised at the attention given gi him by the many happy people gathered near his home Words taU fall Mr and Mrs Matheson as they try to express their thanks and gratitude to all individuals groups and organizations for their prompt and willIng willing will will- Ing efforts in their behalf in the most apprehensive few tew hours of their lives |
