A Page prominent farmer and stockman died Monday at 1230 pm p.m. on arrival at a Salt Lake hospital where he was taken for tor medical attention from his home borne in San Francisco Ho became ill Friday at Upalco Duchesne county where he was visiting a daughter I I i I I I 1 I I I He was born February 10 1878 at Bountiful a son of ot Alma and Frances Ashby Page When he was 12 years of age the family moved to Kamas valley where the family since had bad resided He was an active member of ot the Church of ot Jesus Christ of ot Latter-day Latter Saints Saint and had served In many capacities including ward teacher and member of ot the Fran Fran- Francis Francis Francis cis cis ward bishopric He also was active in civic affairs and served as an officer of ot various irrigation companies in Kamas valley valle and was sexton of ot Francis cemetery until last month He married Mettle Hettle Jane Prescott Oct Oct- October October October ober 16 1901 in the Salt Lake L L. D. D S. S temple She died September 28 1950 Survivors include a a. daughter Mrs Minnie Potts Upalco three sons Wil Wll- William Wllliam Vil- Vil liam and Late Page Kamas and Leo Page Altonah Duchesne county 20 grandchildren one great grandchild two brothers George Page Bountiful and Chester Page Idaho Emmett Emmett four sisters Mrs Libbie Prescott Hayden Uintah county Mrs Etna Nell Neil Salt Lake City Mrs Ivie lyle Moulton Provo and Mrs Fannie Nell Neil American Fork Funeral services will be conducted Friday at noon in Kamas L. L D D. S. S 5 ward wardI chapel directed by Wayne Prescott bishop of ot Francis ward Friends may call at mortuary in Heber Wed- Wed and at the home of his son Lafe Late Page Kamas Thursday and Friday prior to services Burial will be in Francis cemetery |
